6. Put off (일정을) 미루다.
->떨어뜨려 놓다. 그래서, (일정을)미루다
ex) Can I put off the meeting?
미팅을 미룰 수 있을까요?
We’ve put off our wedding until next February.
내년 2월로 우리의 결혼을 미뤘다.
I need to study English.
But I just keep putting it off.
영어공부를 하는데 계속 미루네요.
Don’t put off the things that you have to do today.

= never put off until tomorrow.

7. Call off (일정을) 취소하다. = cancel
ex) The concert was called off.
콘서트가 취소됐어.
The meeting was called off.
미팅이 취소 됐어.
Why don’t we call it off?
이거 우리 취소하면 어떨까요?
I think we should call off the party.
그래, 파티 취소하는게 좋겠다.
Can I call off the meeting?

8. Rip off 속이다 모방하다. 바가지를 쓰다.
모조품, 모방품, 표절. 죽이다.
ex) I got ripped off. 사기당했어 / 바가지 썼어.
It’s a rip-off. 이거 표절이다.
That’s a rip-off! 그건 표절이야!
I‘m going to rip your head off. 죽일테다!

9. Blow off (화, 열)을 식히다. 화를 가라앉히다. 무시하다
ex) Blow off some steam.
I got ripped off
I’m really pissed off.
I need to blow off some steam.
Hey! Blow off some steam! 진정해. 화좀 식혀.

Blow 사람 off -> 무시하다
ex) Don’t blow me off! 나 무시하지 마!

10. Knock off 그만해. 거짓말 하지 마! = stop
ex) Knock it off! 때려 쳐! 거짓말 치지마.
(눈에 뻔히 보이는 거짓말을 할 때.)

11. pissed off 빡치다. 빡쳐! 빡치게 하다.
ex) I’m pissed off. 어우 빡쳐! 화 나
I’m really pissed off.
I need to blow off some steam.
You’re starting to piss me off
왜 이렇게 나를 빡치게 하니?

12. Show off 자랑하다. 떠벌리다 = brag
ex) Stop showing off. 자랑 좀 그만해라.
He showed off his new car to me.
그 새 차를 내게 자랑했다.
